I Love NY

Welcome to Cortland County

Come experience all that Cortland County has to offer this spring season, as we welcome budding flowers, warmer temperatures, and more outdoor activities.

Home to five scenic golf courses, our county offers a variety of courses for public use. Grab your clubs, as the flawless green landscape marks the beginning of another great season of golf!

Looking for the perfect fishing spot? Our county offers a number of fishing opportunities, most of which are stocked by the DEC annually, in our lakes, ponds, and rivers.

For those who enjoy hiking and walking along scenic trails, Lime Hollow Nature Center offers miles of marked trails, as well as a number of nature activities on weekends, while the Finger Lakes Trail is easily accessible at a number of places within the county.

Those adventure-seeking enthusiasts should check out the outdoor Adventure Center (including ziplines, rope challenges, an alpine coaster—and more!), as well as Cascades Indoor Waterpark located at Greek Peak Mountain Resort/Hope Lake Lodge.

Don’t forget our Homer Farmers’ Market & Downtown Cortland Farmers’ Market that offers sustainable and organic produce, baked goods, and a myriad of crafts throughout the season.

Spring has sprung, so come experience all that Cortland County has to offer!
