Celebrate this special time of year with our annual Children’s Holiday Tea featuring Magic Garden Puppet Theatre! Sunday, December 2 starting at 1pm Explore the wonders of a late 19th century holiday season as the house is fully decorated. Cucumber sandwiches, tea, sweet treats, and hot chocolate await! After tea, make your way upstairs for The Cat of Dovrefjell, performed by Magic Garden Puppets! The Cat of Dovrefjell is a traditional Norwegian folktale. The action is set in the North of Norway during Yule. Trolls take over Halvor’s house and eat his Feast every year, leaving the family freezing in the woodshed. one year a trapper with a beautiful brown bear on his way to the King of Denmark, stops at Halvor’s house. The story unfolds when Olle Bolle, the baby troll, encounters the bear behind the stove… Adults are $15, Children are $12. If you book a table of 6, your table is $65, regardless who sits at the table! Order by November 19 for a special Victorian Calling Card package.
