                                     GREEK PEAK


                                      MOUNTAIN RESORT

                                    S    now-covered peaks. Cozy fireplaces. Warmly-dressed skiers hitting the




                                         slopes. These are the images that typically come to mind when one thinks
                                         of a classic mountain resort. At Greek Peak Mountain Resort, there is no
                                     “off season.” Situated on more than 7,000 acres of state-protected forests
                                     in Virgil, just minutes from Interstate I-81, and 10 minutes south of Downtown
                                     Cortland, the resort packs a big, family-friendly adventure.

                                  CORTLAND COUNTY’S WINTER WONDERLAND

                  Central and Upstate New York’s largest ski resort was founded in 1958 and offers
                  day and night skiing seven days a week from late December until mid March. The
                  mountain sports 56 trails, six aerial lifts, two surface lifts, and terrain parks. Some
                  recent additions to the facility include a new quad chairlift, new ski and board equipment
                  in the rental shop, and state-of-the art ski and board tuning facility.  Greek Peak
                  also has a great beginner area and offers lessons for all ages and every level of skier
                  and boarder.

                  The Greek Peak Nordic Center boasts over 15 miles of gorgeous trails that are open
                  to cross country skiers and snowshoers of all abilities. And, the ten-lane snow-tubing
                  center has a lift to get you back to the top of the hill!

                                  EXPERIENCE GREEK PEAK ALL YEAR-ROUND
                                  The Nor’Easter Mountain Coaster is a state-of-the-art gravitational hybrid of an alpine slide
                                  and a roller coaster. Fly through the air on four dual zip lines, or test your strength, endurance and
                                  balance on the Team Challenge Ropes Course. Take a scenic ride on the Summer Chairlift Rides
                                  while watching mountain bikers whiz by below.
                                  Conquer the Virgil Mountain Loop, a 4.7 mile hike that takes you to the highest point in Cortland
                                  County. If you’re looking for something a little less taxing, take an evening stroll around the Town
                                  of Virgil’s Hope Lake Park.
                  At Cascades Indoor Waterpark, the little ones can get in on the fun in the Toddler Activity Pool, while the adults
                  experience Wave Pools and The Rapids slides. Let the kids dry off at the Starlight Arcade while the adults wrap up an
                  adventure-filled day with a relaxing soak in the Hot Springs hot tub.
