It wouldn't be autumn in New York without our favorite rivalry, so we are celebrating all things Cortaca by taking a walk down memory lane with some of our favorite players from years past. Register now for your exclusive access to Cortaca's best moments throughout the years, as told by those who lived it.

Join us Saturday, Nov. 14, at noon, for an exclusive virtual event with interviews, commentary and game footage from some of the best moments in Cortaca's 60-plus year history. Receive all the information for watching the fun when you register.

Get involved:

• Use SUNY Cortland stickers on social media Search "Cortland" to find stickers to add to your Instagram and Facebook stories. 
• Submit your photos for the photo contest Share you favorite Cortaca moments by submitting photos, starting Oct. 24, to win one of 20 "Cortaca in a crate" prizes, packed with the essentials for watching Cortaca footage from home. All photo submissions will also have a chance to win an overnight stay at the Lynne Parks '68 SUNY Cortland Alumni House! *See rules below

Photo Contest Rules:

How to participate/enter
Participants must post their photos using the hashtag #CortacaJug to one of the following social media platforms and tag the alumni accounts using the handles below. You must be following our accounts. If you are private and/or you do not tag us, we will not be able to find your posts. We will be sharing to our alumni accounts as we receive submissions. 

• Facebook — @sunycortlandalumni
• Instagram — @sunycortlandalumni (posting to stories is preferable)
• Twitter — @cortlandalumni

If your profile is private, or to ensure your photo is entered, you may also enter by uploading your photos when you register.

Eligibility
Photo contest is open to all SUNY Cortland fans — students, alumni, faculty, staff, parents and friends. 

Number and format of submissions
Multiple photos/posts may be submitted; there is no limit. Each photo submitted on social media, regardless of platform posted on, must tag our alumni account and be posted with #CortacaJug. Photos without the hashtag will not be considered for selection. If you are submitting during registration, you do not need to use the hashtag. 

Restrictions
Photos must be appropriate to be shared on our Alumni Association social media accounts and must feature your Cortland pride positively. Content that is obscene, provocative, features excessive alcohol usage or otherwise questionable content will not be considered.

Deadline
Photos posted on social media or uploaded to the photo submission form from Saturday, Oct. 24, through Thursday, Nov. 5, at 11:59 p.m. will be entered to win one of twenty "Cortaca in a Crate" prizes. After Nov. 5, in addition to all previous photos, any photos submitted through Friday, Nov. 13, at 11:59 p.m. will be entered to win the grand prize and Cortland swag – to be sent after Cortaca. All photos will be put into a gallery and uploaded to the SUNY Cortland Alumni Engagement Flickr. 

Prizes
On Friday, Nov. 13, a voting form will be released on social media with the candidates for the grand prize photo. The winner of the grand prize will be announced on Saturday, Nov. 14. The grand-prize winner will win Cortland swag and a one-night stay at the Lynne Parks '68 SUNY Cortland Alumni House when it reopens.
