An edible park is being created in Homer in 2023 along Route 11! We are soliciting community members' thoughts, ideas, and values about the park design and planting.
This event will involve a short foraging walk for wild edible and medicinal plants, followed by a discussion of what community members would like to see in a park designed for foraging and increasing food access, as well as design ideas.
The walk will be hosted by the Village of Homer and led by the Cortland Food Project's Food Policy Subcommittee and SUNY ESF Landscape Design professor Matt Potteiger.
