Cortland First Fridays joins an informal nationwide movement to celebrate the arts in local communities on the first Friday of each month. Participating galleries, studios, artists, interested businesses, music and performing arts venues will be open to the public from 5 pm to 8 pm to spotlight the arts.
October First Friday venues include:
• Cinch Art Space – Featuring over 55 local artists
• Cortland Free Library – Regional Photography Exhibit, coordinated by the Cultural Council of Cortland County
• Dowd Gallery – Pieces from the Permanent Collection
• Instant Artist – Pick Your Painting (advanced registration required)
• Local Artist Lauren Nels – 37 Main Street
• Local Artist Molly Reagan Andrejko – 35 Main Street
• Local Artist Nathan Loda – 28 Main Street
• The 1890 House Museum - Death & Mourning in the Victorian Era
• YWCA Cortland – AVV Exhibit
