Awards for the eleventh annual Regional Photography Show will be live streamed on the Cortland Arts Connect Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/culturalcouncilofcortlandcounty at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday October 21st.

Twenty-two photographers are exhibiting 42 works this year, choosing from three specific categories: Silhouettes, Purple, and Patterns in Nature. In addition, two other categories were included: Collage (using Photoshop or other software), and Open (photo taken within the past 3 years). Awards will be given in each category and this year there will also be a People’s Choice Award voted on by visitors to the exhibit.

The judge for the awards is Elisha Stasko. Elisha is an Adjunct professor at Syracuse University Newhouse School of Public Communications. She teaches introductory photography to undergraduate and graduate students, including camera usage, post-production editing, and principles of storytelling and visual communication.

The exhibit will be on display at the Cortland Free Library through November and digital images of all the works will be available for viewing on the https://www.cortlandartsconnect.org website after the awards date.
