The St. Charles is a local, family owned and operated bar in Cortland, NY. Founded in the 1860s as a railroad hotel, The St. Charles is one of Cortland County's five oldest, continually operated businesses. The hotel added a bar room and, with the exception of prohibition, has been serving patrons ever since. The St. Charles Hotel has been run by its current owners since 1978.
