Join the Cultural Council at it's first ever ReFashion Cortland sustainable design fashion show. Comprised of entries from our community, this event highlights the creativity of our neighbors. ReFashion Cortland challenges individuals to develop their own creations in the categories of upcycling and redesign. This may range from clothing and accessories made from found items like water bottles or plastic bags and wrappers to re-designed items that are given a second life through the designer’s modifications to a piece. The initiative will culminate with a fashion show where models display the entries on the runway. A panel of local judges will review the entries and select winners in each category. ​Advanced sale tickets for the show will be available online. This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by CNY Arts.
