The annual Regional Photography show is sponsored by the Cultural Council of Cortland County (CCCC). The show will open October 4 in the Art Gallery of the Cortland Free Library, and will be displayed until October 22nd.

Twenty-one photographers will have their work on display in this year's show. This is the ninth juried Regional Photography Exhibit, and this year, photographers have submitted 39 works, choosing from four categories: Repetition, Geometric Forms, Reflection, and Macro.

This opening takes place on First Friday. Awards are given in each category and will be announced at 5:45 PM. The judge in this year’s show is Andrew Gillis, Assistant Professor of Photography at TC3.* He will give a brief talk about the photos chosen for awards, as well as others of particular interest. While enjoying the photography, starting at 6 PM visitors will be treated to the lyrical music of harpist Lisa Fenwick.** Refreshments will also be provided.
