Winter Foraging at Lime Hollow Nature Center

Leaves are gone, and there could be snow on the ground. Now what? Now it is time to open your “forest eyes” and practice “noticing nature”. Join Wild Woman Botanicals’ Hana Pandori for a brisk walk on Lime Hollow trails while learning to appreciate the incredible abundance of food & medicine at our fingertips. At the end of the class, you will be delighted with how nature provides exactly what we need when we take the time to notice.

Be prepared to walk approximately a mile and a half at a slow pace, so dress accordingly to remain outside. Warm up at the end of the afternoon with some foraged hot winter tea. Please bring water, a light snack, notebooks, and your own experiences to share.

This program is intended for individuals ages 13 and above. Participants aged 13-15 must be accompanied by an adult.
