Women Veterans Recognition Day to Honor all Military Women & their Families, Saturday, June 8, 11 am–3 pm, CNY Living History Center, 4386 US Rte. 11, Cortland, N.Y. Presentation & discussion at 1 pm; special exhibits on women veterans and women who served in the military all day.

Free admission for all women who have served in the armed forces in any capacity and a guest. Free admission for all veterans with proper ID. General public welcome to attend.

1:00 pm panel presentation & discussion. Panelists: Alice Anderson (Retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel) and Kelly Hoyt (former Museum Educator at Old Fort Niagara). Reception & refreshments after the presentation. Special exhibits and tours of the Homeville Museum’s military and other collections through the day.

Admission price for the general public includes the event, refreshments, and tours of all CNY Living History Center Museums: Homeville Museum, Brockway Museum, Tractors of Yesteryear, Antique Firehouse. $15 for adults; $12 for Seniors & AAA members; $7 for youth aged 6-18, Free for children 5 & under, museum members, & AD military
