Join the Cortland Arts Connect at their Art, Music, Food & Craft Beverage Festival in historic downtown Cortland for a day of music, shopping, tasting, and creating.

Court Street (between Main St and Curch St), Downtown Cortland NY

WHAT TO EXPECT

Cortland Arts of Main will host more than 20 fantastic artists, with a wide variety of wares available for purchase, from pottery to macrame, photography to handmade soaps. Arts Off Main is more than just incredible shopping.

CRAFT BEVERAGE TASTING

Everyone's favorite craft bevy tasting event will open at noon (for attendees 21 and over). Cortland Beer Co. will host this year, providing the opportunity to try some of the finest New York State beer, wines, and spirits. Their sprawling patio is nestled in the heart of the festival and makes a perfect spot to kick up your feet and take in the festivities. Be sure to try one of their famous speedies from their delicious on-site food truck. Don't forget to make your way to the far end of the festival where you'll find Dragonfyre Distillery serving up whiskey, brandy, and bourbon from their unique dragon wagon.

CHALK MURALS

This year's art festival will showcase hometown hero, Molly Reagen of Good Neighbor Art. Molly will recreate a crowd favorite, a fun interactive chalk mural for festivalgoers to fill in. Embrace your inner child and let your Picasso loose and you help make the festival a vibrant community space.

BUDDING ARTIST

Is there a budding young artist in your life? There will be no shortage of activities for children at the Art Tent throughout the day! Stop by and try puppet making, dragonfly tea lights, watercolor painting, and arts & crafts workshops.

CRAFTERNOON
Feeling crafty? Get your hands dirty and try a new skill. Arts Off Main offers a wide variety of demonstrations and classes. From pottery throwing and watercolor painting to drawing and needle felting. Pre-register for your class at cortlandartsconnet.org as the classes are popular and usually fill prior to the festival.

Feeling more spontaneous? Embrace your inner Jackson Pollok, don and splatter suit and go wild at Cortland's newest creative space, SPLAT! Sumthin. Whip up your own one-of-a-kind spin paint masterpiece on canvas or t-shirt for between $10-20.
