Step back in time and experience the American Revolution through the eyes of a soldier. The Marathon Area Historical Society, in partnership with Marathon Schools, will host a special historical presentation by George B. Cummings titled “A Soldier in George Washington’s Army.”

During this engaging program, Cummings will bring Revolutionary War history to life by exploring the daily experiences, challenges, and stories of the soldiers who served under General George Washington. The presentation offers a fascinating look at the realities of life in the Continental Army and the sacrifices made during the fight for independence.
