First Raku Firing of 2022 with Live Music

When: Friday, May 6th, 5-9 pm

Where: Pottery Works at the Corset Building, 75 East Court Street

What: We are firing up our Raku Kiln for First Friday in May!  Listen to Live Music, browse local art throughout the building, enjoy light refreshments, glaze a pot and offer it to the kiln.

• Join us from 5 pm for light refreshments, studio tours, and the opportunity to participate in our first raku firing of 2022.  
• Pots for glazing will be available for in-studio purchase from $15-$30.  These will be fired at 8 pm - before your very eyes! - and can be taken home that night or available for pickup at a later date.
• Enjoy Live Music throughout the building!  First Floor: Bradford Allen from 6 pm. Third Floor: Thompson Hall Acoustic Duo from 4 pm.  
• Browse the works of over 50 local artists at Cinch Art Space, Cortland’s all-local artisan outlet celebrating the beginning of its 10th Year in Business!
• Shop the Third Floor Artisan Market featuring local craftspeople.
• Visit other local businesses and studios on all three floors.
