New York State Grange is excited about its second annual Health and Wellness Fair for community residents and their families to be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon at the NYS Grange Headquarters located at 100 Grange Place, Cortland NY.

The event is free and is designed to provide health and wellness information for everyone, focusing on resources and programs about which individuals may not know are available.  Agencies and organizations participating include those specializing in physical and mental health, elder care and family health, safety, nutrition, children’s programs, and more. There will be returning agencies as well as twelve new agencies at this year’s fair.

Agencies and organizations planning to participate this year include: Cayuga Health Laboratory, Child Advocacy Center, Child Development Council, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Cortland County, CAPCO, Cortland County Children and Youth with Special Care Needs, Cortland County Healthy Neighborhoods Program and the Radon Program, Cortland County Injury Prevention and Traffic Safety, Cortland County Office of Aging, Cortland County Sheriff’s Department, Cortland Fire Department, Family Planning of Central New York, Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous, Hospicare and Palliative Care Services, National Alliance on Mental Illness of Steuben County, NY FarmNet, Portzline Day Program, Project Lean Nation and the YMCA of Cortland.

Founded in 1873, the NYS Grange is a not-for-profit organization with more than 100 local Granges in New York State.  We are advocates for responsible government at all levels and are an organization emphasizing strong family ties as a basis for a healthy society.  As a fraternal organization, members in the Grange organization is available to anyone who is interested in community betterment.  We are involved in our communities through family activities, and we practice democracy in action by creating legislative priorities and resolutions to be enacted into local, state and federal laws.
