Traditional Colombian Music and Dance!
Powerfully rhythmic and melodic Afro-Indigenous-Colombian music recreates the feeling of traditional open-air Cumbia gatherings. The group uses traditional instruments such as "Gaita" flutes and Afro-Colombian drums. "Gaita" music has a festive and danceable spirit.
This event is free and open to the public.
It is being presented by the SUNY Cortland Campus Artist and Lecture Series.
Tickets can be reserved by calling 607-753-5574, can be picked up in the Campus Activities Office, Corey Union, Room 406 on weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. or will be available at the door on the evening of the performance.
