1890 House Museum Exterior

The 1890 House is celebrating 50 years as a museum in 2025. Nicelee Hollenback will be presenting the early days of the museum with vintage pictures and documents. We will explore the people and the processes that took a family home and created a community source of pride, and finally, we will share how you can help us get back to the roots of its original mission as a center for the community.

Bring your own lunch if you wish, and we will provide a beverage and dessert. Admission is free for members of the Cortland County Historical Society (CCHS) and $5 for CCHS members-to-be. Parking is available on either Homer Avenue or Maple Avenue, directly across the street from CCHS.
Please call 607-756-6071 with any questions.
