Are you afraid of things that creep in the night? Are you hypnotized by the light of a full moon? Do you fancy yourself a mad scientist? Do you believe in Moth Man?

Now is your chance. Sunday, July 14 join Lime Hollow Nature Center and Cornell University for Moth Night. From 9 pm until midnight, find yourself drawn like a moth to a flame, on a wild scientific adventure.

Your heart will flutter as you learn from moth experts across North America and Europe and discover moths that can smell each other from a mile away, mimic bird-poop, have venomous spines, and even disrupt bat sonar! *Moth Man encounters are not guaranteed.

Date: Sunday, June 14, 2024
Time: 9pm- midnight (you read that right!)
What To Bring: Bring a flashlight or headlamp, warm clothing, and sturdy footwear.
Parking: Parking will be available at the Visitor Center (338 McLean Rd.) Education Campus (3277 Gracie Rd.) and at all trailheads along McLean and Gracie Rds.
Event Location: Viewing stations and experts will be set up throughout the Art Meadow, Education Campus, and on portions of the Lehigh Valley Trail
