Vietnam Veterans Remembrance Day gathering, Monday, March 30, 10:30 am-3:00 pm at the Central New York Living History Center.

Free event for all Vietnam Era Veterans & immediate family/caretakers (not open to the general public)

Honor Vietnam Era Veterans, enjoy fellowship, and learn about services for veterans. Free Hot Lunch Provided Schedule: 10:30-3:00: Service Provider Showcase Visit with representatives from the Cortland County VA Office, Cortland County Office for Aging, Syracuse VA Medical Center, Clear Path for Veterans, Access to Independence/NY Connects, Hospicare, CAPCO, and more….

Schedule:

  • 11:30-12:30: Welcome Ceremony Keynote Address by James Tully, Retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel; former Professor of Military Science, Cornell University Army ROTC Special address by Kathy Carpenter, American Gold Star Mom of SFC Ethan Charles Carpenter. 
  • 12:30-1:30: Lunch
  • 1:30-3:00: Informal Conversation & Presentations Tour the Homeville Museum to see Vietnam War & other military displays.
