Country Blessings Welcomes an Old Fashioned Café to the Shop.

Country Blessings is a quirky and charming space. At first glace, it appears like any other antique shop, but as you begin to wander through the nooks and alcoves, your eyes come to rest upon some unique and unexpected treasures. Long forgotten relics, carefully curated, suddenly seem innately modern and artfully sophisticated. No inch of space is wasted, in this clever little shop and, what began as a shopping trip, suddenly feels like a scavenger hunt.

The shelves are adorned with with items from every area, thoughtfully arranged by color and texture. Effortlessly clustering Victorian kitsch lamps, depression glass and original 1960's Big Eyed Girl art, it's clear that the curator of Country Blessings has a eye for creating perfect vignettes. They offer every sort of thing you can imagine, from turkey shaped salt and pepper shakers, to retro jewelry, primitive pottery and collectable knickknacks. It's impossible to leave Country Blessings empty handed.

If you're not careful, it's easy to find you've whiled away an afternoon; sorting through tchotchkes and art, antiques and jewelry. With all that hunting, it's easy to work up an appetite. Not to worry, Country Blessings has an answer for that, too.

Beginning November 20th, Country Blessings will host a café, open regular shop hours, Thursday-Saturdays. Perfectly at home amidst the antiques, the old fashioned menu of cold sandwiches and chips, paninis, and homemade soups is quintessential comfort food. The dinning room is filled with a quaint hodgepodge of vintage chairs and tables, each covered in the sort of brightly colored tablecloths you'd expect to find in a grandmother's kitchen. Snuggle up next to the hearth, with a steaming cup of tea, and marvel at the vintage décor while you catch up with a old friend.
