The 1890 House Museum

The 1890 House Museum will have a dedication ceremony for our new historic marker commemorating the family home of Chester F. Wickwire on Saturday, April 25, at 1:00pm. The marker, fully funded by the William G. Pomeroy Foundation hilights the significance of the home and the founding of the museum. The dedication will take place during National Historic Marker Weekend 2026. Please join us as we celebrate this special moment for the museum, be a part of the photos we will take, and stick around for a free reception afterwards. The marker was fully funded by the William G. Pomeroy Foundation, and the ceremony will take place as a part of National Historic Marker Weekend.
