1890 Union Fair

Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a day of small town history, community traditions, local talent and old fashioned fun at the 1890 Union Fair in Marathon.

Sponsored by the Marathon Lions Club, this year’s fair celebrates “America and Life in a Small Town,” bringing together exhibits, demonstrations, food, local vendors and plenty of hometown history.

• Antique and classic cars
• Antique tractors and machinery
• Farm animals and exhibits
• One room schoolhouse exhibit
• Local history and America 250 displays
• Arts, crafts, needlework, photography, flowers and garden exhibits
• Local farmers and artisan market
• Live demonstrations and activities
• Kids games and activities
• Food, fried dough and other fair favorites
• Union Fair raffle
• Hometown auction at approximately 3:30 p.m.
• And plenty more to explore throughout the day
