Parker (1852-1926) attended Cortland Academy and Cortland Normal School. He was one of the most respected lawyers in the U.S. and Chief Judge of the New York Court of Appeals. He ran for U.S. President against Theodore Roosevelt in the 1904 election.
Presentation by Marty Mack, former Mayor of Cortland, County Assistant District Attorney, and County Attorney. Marty served as Executive Deputy Attorney General for three NYS Attorneys General and on the senior staff for Governors Eliot Spitzer, David Paterson, and Kathy Hochul. He presently serves as a NYS Gaming Commissioner.
