Join Peter Harrity to learn about the wide variety of bird species in Cortland county and where to find them. He’ll share rare bird sightings over the years and talk about the people of Cortland who’ve been instrumental in the birding community. Peter Harrity, retired Senior Naturalist from Lime Hollow Nature Center, worked for 20 years with The Peregrine Fund in endangered bird species restoration efforts before turning his attention to nature education and sharing his love of nature with people. Bring your own lunch if you wish, we'll provide a beverage and dessert! CCHS members receive free admission and CCHS members-to-be pay just $5.
