C4's Juneteenth 2026

Cortland’s Juneteenth Celebration will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Courthouse Park in Cortland, NY. This community celebration honors Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, which commemorates the ending of slavery in the United States and recognizes the history, culture, resilience, and contributions of Black Americans.

The event is open to the public and welcomes individuals and families of all backgrounds to come together in celebration, reflection, and community. The celebration will include music, food, vendors, community resources, and family-friendly activities. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with local organizations, support vendors, enjoy entertainment, and celebrate freedom, culture, and unity in the heart of downtown Cortland. This event is intended to bring the Cortland community together in a welcoming and inclusive space while honoring the importance of Juneteenth and continuing to build awareness, connection, and support across the community.
