On Saturday, September 24th, 2022, the Cortland County Soil & Water Conservation District will be holding the 26th Annual Cortland County River Clean-Up along the many streams, lakes, and ponds in Cortland County.

Participants form teams and claim a portion of a stream, pond, or lake from which they remove accumulated trash and debris. The trash clean-up will run from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Supplies and materials are provided to teams in advance. The event is free and open for all to participate. Clubs, school groups, and families are encouraged to participate.
