Death at the Wickwire Speakeasy
3 Tompkins St.
Cortland, NY 13805
Step back into the 1920s for Death at the Wickwire Speakeasy, an immersive murder mystery evening at Cortland’s historic 1890 House Museum. Guests will enter a world of flappers, secrets, suspicious characters and, before the night is through, a murder that needs solving.
Presented by the 1890 House Museum and Cornell Cooperative Extension, the evening includes a buffet of Flapper Fare and Libations as guests search for clues, question suspects and attempt to uncover the killer.
Of course, no respectable speakeasy simply lets you walk through the door.
The passphrase is: “Chester sent me!”
Only 65 guests will be admitted, and previous murder mystery events have sold out, so advance reservations are strongly recommended.
