Dock Holiday Maiden Voyage

Set sail for an unforgettable night with Dock Holiday on Friday, May 8 from 6–9pm at the historic Cortland Country Music Park.

This marks the first-ever performance of Cortland’s first yacht rock band — and one of only a few chances to catch them in the region this year.

Yacht rock blends the smooth, harmony-rich sounds of the ’70s and early ’80s, made famous by artists like The Doobie Brothers, Steve Winwood, Hall & Oates, and Christopher Cross. With its polished grooves and dance-along melodies, the genre is surging in popularity across generations.

Dock Holiday features top regional musicians from Cortland, Ithaca, and Unadilla with years of experience and serious stage credentials, including opening for and performing alongside some of the very legends whose music they now celebrate.

The show is part of the resurgence of the beloved Cortland Country Music Park, a nonprofit, volunteer-led venue and home of the New York State Country Music Hall of Fame.
