Set in the modern-day offices of Messina, Inc. Claudio falls in love with Hero, but a malicious plot by Don John, Don Pedro’s half-brother, leads Claudio to falsely believe Hero is unfaithful, publicly shaming her at their wedding; meanwhile, the witty Beatrice and Benedick, initially antagonistic, are tricked into realizing their love for each other, ultimately leading to reconciliation and marriage after Hero’s innocence is revealed.
