Pottery Works Raku

We are thrilled to once again offer our famous community Raku firing event! Raku is a unique Japanese pottery firing technique that involves removing pieces from a hot kiln and quickly cooling them in combustible materials like sawdust or paper, creating unique, unpredictable surface patterns and colors. We'll have a selection of pots thrown in the studio for you to purchase, we'll walk you through how to glaze your pot, and then you can watch us fire it up! All are invited as this is a family friendly event that does not require registration. Light refreshments will be provided.
