Presentation by Dale Taylor, the hometown boy who took over the Sarvay family’s 100-year-old business. Come enjoy Dale’s account of the history of Sarvay Shoes, with funny anecdotes and behind-the-scenes events. Dale began as a clerk at Sarvay Shoes in 1977. In 1987 he helped Jim Sarvay oversee the store’s move from Central Ave. to Main St. in Cortland. In 1993 Dale became the sole owner of the company. Refreshments after the presentation.
