Danny Armitage rode locomotives & cabooses more than 400 times from 1963 through the mid-1980s. He was accepted by railroad crews as “one of their own.” Hear Danny’s unique perspective on the people and operations of the railroad based on his experiences growing up in Freeville, N.Y., where two branches of the Lehigh Valley Railroad crossed.
