ABOUT:
The Rollin' Rust is an indie/folk group from the foothills of Central New York. Primarily traveling with his band, singer-songwriter, James VanDeuson performs his most recent work alongside his talented friends, Jim Hearn (lead guitarist) and Kyle Dennis (percussion). Through their polished songwriting and colorful lyricism, the boys tell the story of a rambling group of friends new to the music industry. Between the stories they tell, and their original tunes that are just plain groovy, the boys are sure to leave the audience excited to come back.

The three piece indie/folk band has been playing together on and off since they were teenagers, crafting a unique sound that could only be formed by such long-lasting friendship.

The Rollin' Rust recently completed their first studio album, “Road Rats,” set to release in the Summer of 2022. The boys have confidence that the album will serve as the catalyst for a promising career in the music industry. Recorded live at Another Recording Co. in Omaha, NE, the album is a perfect blend of the traditional folky undertones that we all know and love, with a touch of indie rock influence that the boys so naturally bring to the table. The project was driven by Ben Brodin, a nationally acclaimed producer and internationally touring musician, currently residing in Omaha, NE. With his wealth of experience and the level at which the boys consistently perform, their most recent work is sure to attract many listeners who are looking for a fresh new band to follow.
