“Clothes mean nothing until someone lives in them." ~Marc Jacobs, American fashion designer
There is so much truth in that quote! Clothes are essential to provide warmth and protection from the elements or to celebrate special occasions, but they mean little until they have a story attached to them. Cortland County Historical Society has a fabulous collection of clothing and fashion accessories that spans four centuries. On April 14 & 15, CCHS will be holding an event entitled “What We Wore: An Exhibition of 200 Years of Fashion.” We are thrilled to be holding this event at the Center for the Arts of Homer, and we are eager to share some beautiful, unique, and historic ensembles with you.  Tickets: $10 purchased in advance or at the door
