“Clothes mean nothing until someone lives in them." ~Marc Jacobs, American fashion designer Clothes are essential to provide warmth and protection from the elements or to celebrate special occasions. Still, they mean little until they have a story attached to them. Cortland County Historical Society has a fabulous collection of clothing and fashion accessories that spans four centuries. The CCHS presents What We Wore: An Exhibition of 200 Years of Fashion.
 
Friday night gala: your evening includes an elegant adult night out featuring jazz by Steve Daniels, hors d’oeuvres, and historic fashion. The Center for the Arts will be staffing a cash bar, so adult beverages will be available for purchase. Tickets are $50 and must be purchased in advance.
