If you're searching for the rainbow's end this St. Paddy's Day, you'll find it in Cortland County!

Look no further than Cortland County for St. Patrick's Day fun to bring out the Irish in you! Whether you're looking for whiskey, a leprechaun-themed shirt or corned beef and cabbage - dress head to toe in green and celebrate the Irish culture at one of the county's local spots.

IT'S EASY BEING GREEN

If you don't want to be on the receiving end of a pinch this St. Paddy's day, you better be wearing something green. For the fashionistas, Elfcup Boutique and Cinch Art Space both offer a beautiful array of green jewelry. Paddy's Pub isn't just an obvious place for a great Irish meal; they also sell St. Paddy's Day T-shirts, proudly proclaiming the "Owego Street Tradition." Lot1vintage always has a colorful assortment of vintage clothing. Arranged by color, it won't take but a moment to find a one-of-a-kind green piece to complete your Saint Patrick's day ensemble.

HANG A HORSESHOE FOR LUCK

Whether you are Irish or just celebrating for the day, decorating your space with Saint Patrick's Day goodies is bound to put a smile on your face. Olde Homer House takes the holiday seriously. From front porch flags to signs and decor, you'll find everything you need to paint your space green.

EAT CORNED BEEF & CABBAGE

You haven't celebrated like the Irish if you don't devour a plate of corned beef and cabbage is hearty and delicious. Along with this classic dish of Ireland, The Community Restaurant will be offering other tasty menu items like Rueben and shepherd's pie (RSVPs required). Hairy Tony's, Gorgers Cortland and Central City Bar & Grill will also be serving up authentic eats. If you are thinking of taking your dinner to go, be sure to stop by the Dragonfyre Distillery and grab a bottle of their finest New York whiskey to complete your celebrations at home.

This year Gorgers is offering a unique take on the classics with their St. Paddy's day menu. Stop in a try some Colcannon Soup (Creamy Potato and Cabbage Soup with a splash of Irish Whiskey), Hand Rolled Reuben Egg Rolls with 1000 Island Dressing, Bangers and Irish Red Battered Fries Smothered In Guinness Cheese Gravy, Corned Beef Salad Sub Topped with Irish Red Battered Fries and Pickled Red Cabbage and the star of the show- Charred Cabbage Braised in the Corned Beef Broth, served with a side of Corned Beef Root Veggie Hash.

IRISH TREATS WITH A TWIST

The Irish would agree St. Patrick's Day is a good day as any for a festive beverage! Try a Spiked Shamrock at Heuga's Alpine Restaurant & Bar. Made with Rumchatta, Bailey's Crème de Menthe & Cream, topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings, it promises to taste just like your favorite shamrock shake! The Rock Sports Bar and Grill is offering three tasty St. Paddy's Day concoctions: the Irish, the Irish sangria and Slam Rock.

Ice cream is always in season in Cortland County. Super Cream Dairy Bar is getting in the spirit with their Saint Patrick themed specials. Try a giant Lucky Super Shake. Perfect for sharing, this mint oreo milkshake is topped off with an ice cream sandwich made from their homemade hard mint chip ice cream. If mint isn't your thing, dive into their Pot O' Gold, a  soft vanilla ice-cream sundae smothered in warm butterscotch, topped with whip cream, gold sprinkles, a gold chocolate coin and a candy rainbow.
