Live music is back at the Center for the Arts of Homer! The Center will welcome its first concert to Whiting Theatre in June, while also hosting musicians at Dwyer Memorial Park with their Concert in a Car Series starting in early May.
The following concerts have been scheduled or rescheduled. Once a new dates has been settled on, the staff will alert you via their email systems, website and social media platforms, and on their ticketing platform, Eventbrite.

In a career that has already spanned a half-century, Jorma Kaukonen has been one of the most highly respected interpreters of American roots music, blues, and rock. A member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and a Grammy recipient, Jorma was at the forefront of popular rock and roll, one of the founders of the San Francisco sound and a progenitor of Psychedelic Rock. He is a founding member of two legendary bands, Jefferson Airplane and the still-touring Hot Tuna.

Ray Benson founded Asleep at the Wheel in Paw Paw, West Virginia 49 years ago. Now based in Austin, the band holds 10 Grammy awards, 20 studio albums and 20 singles on the Billboard country charts. Asleep at the Wheel’s newest members Katie Shore (fiddle, vocals), Dennis Ludiker (fiddle, mandolin), Connor Forsyth (keyboard, vocals) and Josh Hoag (Bass), have given the band a newfound energy and their own unique style, and Asleep at the Wheel veteran David Sanger (Drums) rounds it all out. Between those Texas Twin Fiddles and Boogie Piano, you can bet you'll be dancin' down the aisles and swingin' all night long.

Three-time GRAMMY winner Shawn Colvin’s debut album, Steady On, was released in October 1989, a stunning introduction to an artist who quickly established herself as a mainstay in the singer - songwriter genre. The album was lauded for its confessional songwriting and well - crafted melodies, and for Colvin’s tender and provocative vocals. Colvin received the ultimate acknowledgement for Steady On when she was awarded the GRAMMY award for Best Contemporary Folk Album. She swiftly amassed a dedicated and passionate fanbase.
