The Cortland County Convention & Visitors Bureau now occupies space at 42 Main Street.
Experience Cortland, the Cortland County Convention & Visitors Bureau, is pleased to announce that the corporate offices for the Bureau have moved to 42 Main Street, in downtown Cortland. The CVB will occupy space on the first floor of the newly refurbished building.
“We are pleased to officially announce our move to new office space on the first floor at 42 Main Street,” said Meghan Lawton, Executive Director of the CVB. “The opportunity to reach Main Street foot traffic, and to bring back the CVB’s official Cortland County Visitors Center was one we could not turn down and we are thrilled to officially occupy the new space.”
Currently, the corporate offices are operating out of the new building, and the CVB has plans to develop a full Visitors Center at the building as well. Build-out for the Visitors Center portion of the space is underway now. The CVB will announce when that portion is complete, but anticipate later winter/early spring for the grand opening. In the meantime, corporate offices will be open 9am-4:30pm and can be accessed via the main entrance off Main Street.
The Cortland County Convention & Visitors Bureau’s purpose is to enhance the general economy of Cortland County, its cities, towns and villages, through promotion of tourist activities, conventions, trade shows, special events and other directly related and supporting activities. The CVB is the official Tourism Promotion Agency for Cortland County.
The CVB office is located at 42 Main Street, Cortland, NY. For more information on the Cortland County Convention & Visitors Bureau, please call (607) 753-8463, visit us on the web at www.experiencecortland.com, or follow us on our social media channels @experiencecortland.
