Featuring a vibrant magazine-style layout, the 2024 edition of the travel guide is designed to inspire and inform travelers with engaging editorial content, captivating photography, and valuable trip-planning resources. This year's guidebook spans 46 pages and offers insights into the county's rich tapestry of outdoor recreation, agritourism, history, and cultural offerings.
"We have poured a tremendous amount of effort into curating a compelling and informative guidebook that captures the essence of Cortland County," says Enright. "From highlighting Lime Hollow's dedication to accessible nature experiences to showcasing the quirky stops along the Cortland Curiosity Trail, our travel guide offers something for every type of traveler."
This year's edition showcases the Seedstock Music Festival on its cover, taken by local photographer, Allison Marie, while content inside the guide is mainly captured by Matt Baldelli, who worked with Experience Cortland on a year-long asset collection project in 2023. Highlights include curated itineraries tailored to different traveler preferences, stories highlighting Lime Hollow's commitment to accessible nature experiences, connecting to our creative community through local artists, and the celebrated Cortland Harvest, championing locally sourced and homegrown delights. Additionally, the guide unveils Curious Detours, spotlighting offbeat stops along the Cortland Curiosity Trail. For those seeking culinary adventures, the guide offers insights into the county's best handhelds, sweet treats, and nostalgic dining experiences.
