POTTERY WORKS
The newest addition to the Corset Building, Pottery Works offers classes for every stage and age. From glazing premade pots, perfect for all skill levels, to living out your Patrick Swayze fantasies and learning to throw clay, Pottery Works has just the class you're looking for. They even offer a Dirty Date Night, couples special, where you and your partner will bond while enjoying this introduction to the basic skills of throwing on the potter’s wheel. No prior experience is required. Pottery Work's instructor will show and assist each of you with the basic techniques of the potter’s wheel. Looking to channel you inner Chip and Joanna Gains? Owego Street Makery has just the class to get you started. Try your had at making your own custom 24" spool clock. Chose the pallet and design to best complement your space. Designz by Heather is offering a one time class, on Friday November 7th from 1-4pm, where she will guide you step by step in creating one of these amazing statement pieces! MAGPIE CUSTOM CREATIONS
Regardless of how you feel about him, Bernie sure made a splash on inauguration day with his extra cozy mittens. Magpie Custom Creations is now offering you an opportunity to create your own pair during their Bernie's Mittens class. Beginning on November 20th and continuing each Saturday through December 18th, from 2-4pm, you too can sew your very own your own set of adorable upcycled mittens. EXIT 9 MARKET PLACE HOLIDAY CARD WORKSHOP
Perhaps paper crafting is more your style. Exit 9 Marketplace is offering a one time Holiday Card making class, Thursday, November 17th from 6-8pm. Students will learn three different techniques; dry paper embossing, die cutting and peak-a-boo with wasabi tape. Each participant will go home with three unique cards and an opportunity to send a little something extra special to your loved ones this year. HOMER HOLIDAY CRAFT AND VENDOR FAIR
Saturday, November 13th, from 10am to 2pm, Homer Central School District is hosting their annual holiday craft show. You can be sure to feel good about filling you bags, as the event benefits the Homer Elementary School P.T.O. With too many vendors and crafters to name, you'll be sure to find everything you were looking for (and probably a few extra things you didn't know you need too).
MARATHON COMMUNITY CRAFT AND VENDOR SHOW
This entire town of Marathon is turning out for this event! From pancake breakfast, maple cotton candy, fried dough and chicken dinners to crafters, artistes, vendors and raffles- this craft show is practically a festival. Come walk the town of Marathon, being sure to stop at the local store fronts, churches and civic center, each hosting a unique array of handmade goods and antiques for sale. Check off all the boxes on your shopping list November 6th, 9am to 4pm and bring home a little something special for yourself too.
