The Cortland County Convention & Visitors Bureau wants to make your holiday season a little more “merry and bright” with the first-ever 12 Days of Experience Cortland Giveaways!
The holiday season is upon us, and the Cortland County Convention & Visitors Bureau and local businesses have teamed up to bring you a series of special gifts. This is our way to say thank you for experiencing Cortland County with us this past year - we truly have the BEST followers!
The 12 Days of Experience Cortland Giveaways
From December 9th through 20th, we are giving away 12 awesome prizes to 12 lucky winners! Here’s the best part: If you enter to win once, you are automatically entered for all 12 rounds of giveaways.
Some 12 Days of Giveaways highlights include one night stays at local accommodations, restaurant gift cards, brewery merchandise, whiskey, theatre gift certificates and much more.

The entry form will be available at the bottom of this blog starting Monday, December 9th at 9 a.m. Don't worry - there will be reminders throughout the week to complete the form! Limit one (1) entry per person, but entrants also have the opportunity to subscribe to the Experience Cortland newsletter for an extra entry. Please note you do not have to enter on the day a giveaway was posted in order to win that particular prize.
The entry period will close on Friday, December 20th at 5 p.m. Winners will be randomly chosen on Monday, December 23rd and announced on the Experience Cortland website, Facebook and Instagram page. Prizes can be picked up at the CCCVB Office starting January 2nd, 2020. Please note that you prize will be held for 30 days starting January 2nd, after which time, the prize becomes the property of the station.

Day 1 - The Arts
You and a friend can enjoy a night on the town at the Downtown Cortland Repertory Theatre with two tickets to a 2020 show (some restrictions apply). Then channel your inner Van Gogh with the help of an instructor and a glass of wine at Instant Artist ($30 gift certificate). Before your night out, grab a bite to eat The Deli Downtown. They have a wide selection of hot and cold sandwiches, grilled paninis, salads, soups and sweet treats.
Day 2 - For the History Buff
Transport yourself into the past of Cortland County! Start your day at the CNY Living History Center which houses three museums in one complex. The center is proud to be home of the Brockway Truck Museum, The Homeville Military Museum and the Tractors of Yesteryears Museum. Take a short drive to Downtown Cortland to explore the 1890 House Museum with two free tour tickets. Built for the late 19th-century inventor and industrialist Chester Wickwire, the home is a standing time capsule illuminating the life of the wealthy Wickwire family. End the day with a night on the town at the Downtown Cortland Repertory Theatre with two tickets to a 2020 show (some restrictions apply).
Day 3 - Local Bites
