FEEL THE MAGIC
The Village of Homer will transform into a bistro-like setting during the 9th Annual Magic on Main, Friday, August 16. Starting at 6 p.m., the community celebration will include downtown shopping, eating, and entertainment.
Pack all the family members into the car, young and old, as there will be loads of fun activities for both the adults and kiddos to enjoy. Mingle from Pine Street (near KeyBank) to Clinton Street where you'll find photo booths sponsored by Main Street Acupuncture, horse and carriage rides, caricature artists, and professional face painting. Don't forget to check out performances from Dan the Snake Man and the two magicians.
Browse the selection of classic cars from the Seven Valley Street Rod Club or Jaguar Club. Buy yourself a little something at the local shops and dance to music from the live musicians that will be at various locations throughout the village, including Greg McQuade and Brent Newcomb.
When you've worked up an appetite, grab a bit from the local food vendors, or pop into one of the local eateries including Dasher's Corner Pub, Sinfully Sweet Café, and Three Little Birds Cakery. If you're thirsty, the wine and beer tent will be set up at James Street near the Municipal Village parking lot featuring New York beverages, including Homer's very own, Homer Hops.

You can sign up online here, or register the day of the race. Following the race, The Speculators and Tom Bloodgood & Dave Dovi will be the first two sets of the day, and the music will continue until 6 p.m. Take a look at the full list of bands and locations to the right.
