8TH ANNUAL LITTLE YORK FIBER ARTS FESTIVAL
Saturday, Oct. 12 & Sunday, Oct. 13 | Little York Pavilion
Whether you're a knitter, crafter, felter or just an early holiday shopper looking for that one-of-a-kind gift, you won't want to miss this unique festival! The 8th Annual Little York Fiber Arts Festival will take place at the Little York Pavilion in beautiful Dywer Memorial Park on Saturday, Oct. 12 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and Sunday, Oct. 13 (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
The fine arts and crafts festival will feature over 30 vendors and crafters selling a collection of fiber products, including yarn and knitting supplies, raw fleeces, blankets and shawls. Daisy Hollow Farm and Cobble Rock Farm will be joining the two-day event, along with Cobble Rock Farm, Ewe-Wooly Yarn Co., Fat Yellow Dog Farm, Otter Lake Farm & Fiber and Story Spun Yarns.
Also available will be unique gift ideas such as seasonal art, handcrafted woodworking, jewelry, pottery, soaps, maple products and more. Trinity Valley Dairy Farm will be on hand, as well as Jake's Gouda Cheese (Saturday only), What the Fudge and S&S Syrup.

There is a $5 entrance free; children 12 and under are admitted free of charge. Don’t forget to bring cash as many vendors only accept cash or check, and there is no ATM on site.

5TH ANNUAL HOPS & SWAPS
Saturday, Oct. 12 | Greek Peak Mountain Resort
Before you know it we'll be celebrating the first fresh snowflakes of the season, and it'll be time to prepare for the upcoming ski season. If you have ski or snowboard gear to sell, or just need a few pieces of gear for the family, stop by Greek Peak's Annual Ski Sale & Swap to stock up on equipment for winter sports. The sale will take place Friday (3 p.m. to 9 p.m.), Saturday (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and Sunday (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.), with over one million dollars worth of new and used inventory for skis, snowboard, boots, poles, apparel and more. If you're looking to freshen up the equipment, visit the tuning and repair tent at the exit of the Ski Swap where you can tune, wax and sharpen your winter hardware, and fit your new ski and/ boots to your equipment. Don't forget to take advantage of the roll back prices on season passes.

Afterwards, wine, spirit and beer lovers can head over to the outdoor deck at Trax for a variety of exciting tasting opportunities. Over 30 beer, wine and distillery vendors will be on hand from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. to give you a samples of their creations.
Participating breweries include Cortland County's very own Cortland Beer Co. and Homer Hops, as well as Ithaca Beer Co., Empire Brewery, Grist Iron Brewing Co., Middle Ages Brewing Co., Southern Tier Brewing Co., Saranac Brewery, Otter Creek Brewery, Long Trail Brewing Co., Talking Cursive Brewing, Dogfish Head Brewery, New Belgium Brewing and Sierra Nevada. Citizen Cider and 1911 Established will be representing the cideries, while Hosmer Winery, Chateaus LaFayette Reneau, Heron Hill, Knapp Winery and Glenora Wine Cellars will be providing wine samples. Local distillery, Dragonfyre Distillery, will have a booth setup for craft whiskey tastings, along with Black Button Distilling, PB Whiskey, Titos Handmade Vodka, Jameson, Jose Cuervo, New Amsterdam Spirits, RumHaven, High Noon Spirits, Sazerac Company, Kilbeggan Distillery and French Distillers & Alchemists
While you're discovering your next favorite brew, take in the sounds from The Unknown Woodsman at 1 p.m. on the deck, followed by Sera Bullis and Band (4 p.m.) and the Steven Cali Band (7 p.m.). Don't forget to take part in all the family-friendly, fall activities including the inflatable obstacle course, connect four, trike track and airbrush tattoos. Get your fill of adventure with a scenic chairlift or a thrilling ride on the Nor'Easter Mountain Coaster.
Admission is $15 and includes 15 tasting tickets, entertainment and access to family activities.
New this year is the Rocky's Cigar VIP Tent. For an additional $15 receive a unique experience in the comforts of a VIP tent - whiskey tastings, cigar pairing and information presentation from Rocky's team.
