Winter is coming, and soon all three of Cortland's ski mountains will covered in snow! Each mountain resort caters to all ages, beginner to pro, with a diversity of runs, equipment rentals, and lessons.
There is more to be found than just downhill skiing; with snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, tubing, and snowboarding, there is something for everyone. When you are done, stop by the lodge and fill up on some good eats and hot drinks.
Because cold weather doesn't always equal snow, we suggest calling ahead to verify conditions.

Greek Peak Mountain Resort is the largest ski resort in Central New York, with 55 trails, six aerial lifts, two surface lifts, beginners' slopes, and four terrain parks, including a progression park. This year they now offer a newly updated Vision Express Lift and increased the snowmaking capacity and capability- to make more snow, better snow, and snow in places they did not previously serve.
As of December 5, 2024 Greek Peak is open for the season and currently making snow as weather permits. So grab your skis and hit the slopes!
Snow-making efforts are officially underway at Greek Peak Mountain Resort. Our award-winning snowmakers are back on the mountain covering the slopes for the winter ahead. Last night, we fired up on Karyatis Way, Meadow, Platonic, Lower Platonic, Odyssey, Elysian Fields, Stoic, Lambi, Ligo, and the Tubing Hill. The forecast is showing great snowmaking temperatures for the foreseeable future, so get your calendars ready and mark these dates because you won’t want to miss our first days on the mountain.
