Please stop by for our Annual Holiday Open House and see the Suggett House Museum beautifully decorated for the holidays. Enjoy the temporary exhibit, “Tinsel & Canvas: An Artful Winter Display,” featuring winter themed art by local artists. The “Suspended in Time: Unraveling the Lives Women Left Behind” exhibit featuring samplers, quilts, and other art by women and girls will be wrapping up at the end of December, so don’t miss your chance to see it. Admission to the Suggett House is always free!

We are pleased to welcome three local authors to this event, and they will have copies of their books available for sale. Martin Sweeney, Matthew Watros, and Karen Hempson will all be on hand to answer questions related to their work and sign books. Our gift shop has a selection of regional and state history titles, cozy Cortland County coverlets, handmade jewelry and artwork by local artists, vintage postcards and books, and plush animals. There will be a “make & take” craft station as well!
