My name is Heather Evanick Owner of Designz by Heather.  I am a stay at home mom of four and a farmer's wife, who has found a passion for designing and hand making beautiful custom signs and home decor. I offer both public and private paint events where I teach you step by step in creating your very own decor item that you will be proud to display in your home or give as a gift. I even offer DIY kits and stencils for you to use in your own crafts at home.

Magpie features locally handcrafted fiber items and unique accessories. We offer sewing and crafting classes, and handmade items of all kinds. Custom sewing, tailoring and alterations, and embroidery services available.

Cortland’s first community pottery studio, located in the historic Cortland Corset Building on the city’s East Side, providing a professional-level ceramics facility that supports students at all stages as they develop and enhance their skills.
