Day 1

Noon Pack your best walking shoes and tackle the Virgil Mountain Loop. The 4.7 mile hike takes you to the highest point in Cortland County and makes for a great photo op with your pup.
P.M. Treat yo’self to something sweet post-hike with a pit stop at Mountainside Cones. Order a vanilla bean pup cup and classic chocolate and vanilla twist for yourself. They also offer non-dairy options.
Day 2
A.M. Get your locally roasted caffeine boost at one of the three Coffee Mania drive-thru locations. Grab a pup cup for your companion and they are sure to be a #maniacdog for life.
Noon Time for a stroll with your pooch at Dwyer Memorial Park, home to beautiful views of Little York Lake and Cortland’s iconic Little York Pavilion. If the kids tagged along, play a game of horseshoes, or swing and slide at the large play area.
P.M. If you’re looking for a quick bite without leaving the car, A&W offers carhop service. Order a classic bacon cheeseburger sandwich (and a second patty for your passenger), warm french fries and a cold, smooth Root Beer.
Day 3
A.M. Brix Pubaria is a local favorite for brunch with menu items including Brunch Totchos, Everything Bagel Pizza and a classic breakfast sammy. The hip restaurant offers umbrella-adorned outdoor seating for you and your pup.
Noon Wander the streets of historic Village of Homer, a quintessential slice of rural Americana. Main Street is lined with beautiful greenery, historic mansions once owned by prominent residents and a quaint Village Green.
P.M. Homer Hops Brewing is a great spot to taste a variety of craft beers. Their 14 taps feature brews (and seltzers) made onsite as well as regional wine and cider. They offer a lively outdoor patio where you're sure to meet new pups while enjoying pints.
