MEALS WITH A VIEW
It doesn't get much better than a delicious spread enjoyed alfresco. With so much great food and beautiful locations, it can be hard to choose. Take advantage of the warm weather and incredible views and treat your group of friends to a memorable meal.
We recommend calling ahead, as these spots are very popular.
BLAST FROM THE PAST
Cortland County is home to five wonderful museums, each full of its own unique charms and collections. From a spectacular gilded age mansion to an open-air museum in a beautiful 19th-century Victorian garden cemetery, you can wander through time just outside of downtown Cortland. Enjoy three collections for the price of one at the CNY Living History Museum, and the Country Music Park is home to the Country Music Hall of Fame, full of country music memorabilia.
A WALK IN THE PARK
There is no better way to decompress than by spending some time in the woods. Head over to Lime Hollow, Cortland County's Nature Center, and walk through over 12 miles of trails. Especially popular are the Eric Kroot Art Trail and Tamarack Art Meadow. Maps and amenities are available at the visitors center, adjacent to the main parking lot.
WHAT'S SHAKING
From live music to shows and events Cortland County has a lot going on! We've highlighted just a few for the week of July 14-17.
