First held in 1996, the Great Cortland Pumpkinfest is a celebration of the prolific bounties of the harvest season. It is held in historic Courthouse Park in Cortland, New York, the Crown City of Central New York.
The Great Cortland Pumpkinfest is held the first weekend of October every year. Over the course of the weekend, hundreds of festival goers come to enjoy festival food, take hay rides, shop locally-made crafts, and, of course, get the first pumpkins of the season.
